AHS & LFC PTSA
Congratulations and thank you PTA members! Look at what were able to accomplish in
2024-25
2023-24
OUR MISSION:
To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
Who are we?
Our PTSA consists of 8 Officers, 12 Standing Committee Chairs, Administrators, Teachers, Staff, Students, Community members and Parents. We are a non-profit group who support the students and staff at all three campuses (AHS, LFC, and the STEAM Center) through parent education events, student programs, and staff appreciation events.
What DO we do?
PTSA organizes and helps with parent education trainings and students programs. Those programs include Reflections (Arts in Education), Be the One Awards, and Grant Haliburton Foundation Safe Program. Through our fundraising efforts, we are able to award six $1000 scholarships, donate to After Prom and provide staff appreciation events. Supporting students and staff is at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s making copies for teachers or serving muffins at the Coffee with Counselor event, PTSA provides volunteers to make these events successful.
How you can help?
Where Does my money go?
$10 membership fee- $5.00 are dues paid to State and National PTA. That leaves $5.00 for our local PTSA. This is used to support our programs, staff appreciation events, and scholarships. We also fundraise to help support these events. Donations go directly to our local PTSA.
