AHS/LFC PTSA is offering four categories of scholarships so that students can choose which one is of interest. Seniors may submit one scholarship application. A minimum of four scholarships, in the amount of $1,000 each, will be awarded to college-bound students graduating from Allen High School’s Class of 2025. The applicant must plan to enroll full-time at an accredited college/university or technical school for the Fall 2025 semester. Scholarship funds will be sent directly from AHS/LFC PTSA to the institution of higher learning.

Students are encouraged to apply for one scholarship that best reflects their background, experience and interest. Students may submit one scholarship application for one category. 

2024-2025 AHS/LFC PTSA Scholarship Categories: 

  • Eagle Soaring Against All Odds: Overcoming Adversity 
  • Eagles Giving Back: Community Service Involvement 
  • Eagles Spirit of AHS: Participation in Extracurricular Activities
  • Outstanding Eagle Award: Academic Achievements 

 

Application Requirements: 

□ You must be a student member of the 2024-25 PTSA; if not, you can join today at: https://ahslfcptsa.membershiptoolkit.com/join-ptsa by clicking the red “Join PTA” button.  Applications will not be considered if applicant’s membership to the PTSA is not verified. 

 

□ Application must be completed by the student. Both parent and student must sign the application, acknowledging all information is accurate and true.

 

□ Letter of recommendation as specified for each of the four scholarship categories. 

 

□ Copy of Allen High School unofficial transcript, which can be found in Portfolio within your Skyward account. Please make sure it is the most current transcript available.

 

□ Completed summary form and essay. Essay responses will be evaluated on clear and concise thoughts, content, grammar conventions and adherence to the prompt. Please double-space the responses, use 14 pt. Arial font, and adhere to the 500 word-count on the essay.
